A 10-year-old passed the security gates of Cairo International Airport without being stopped or questioned, took a shuttle bus across the tarmac and boarded a plane without a ticket on Thursday.
According to the state-run Akhbar Al-Youm, the stewardess on the Gulf Air flight that was headed to Bahrain returned the boy to the authorities, who upon questioning found that his name was Mohamed Sabry and that he lives in Ain Shams, an area close to the airport. He said he wanted to watch the planes.
The authorities summoned his father and asked him to make sure this does not happen again.
