Alexandria’s Borg al-Arab International Airport has received its first AEGEAN flight coming from Athens, Greece, with 125 passengers on board.
The flight received a water salute on landing and its passengers were greeted with flowers and chocolate from Egypt’s public relations team.
The airport authorities helped passengers to smoothly complete arrival procedures, amid strict coronavirus precautionary measures.
One AEGEAN flight from Athens will now travel to Alexandria weekly.
