The Belgian government has decided to allow its citizens to travel to the city of Sharm al-Sheikh without conditions or restrictions, canceling all warnings that were announced before.
This came after a series of meetings with Belgian Foreign Ministry officials to clarify the the situation in Egyptian tourist destinations and assure that stability has been restored.
Several Western countries have reduced the warning level that they had announced due to a deteriorating security situation since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsy and several attacks on security forces by extremist groups.
