Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz’s latest film “Beit al-Rouby” garnered LE63 million in less than two weeks, ranking first across theaters in Egypt.
On Sunday, the last day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, the film made over LE192,000 in theaters. The movie recorded its highest daily revenue since its release at LE10.2 million on Saturday.
“Beit al-Rouby” thus beat the highest daily revenue of Abdel Aziz’s “Kira Wal Jinn” movie of LE7.6 million.
With these figures, Abdel Aziz achieved the first and second largest daily revenue figures in the history of Egyptian cinema.
“Beit al-Rouby” stars Abdel Aziz, Lebanese actress Nour, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Tara Emad.
Other actors include Mohamed Abdel Rahman Tota, and Mustafa Abu Seree, with screenplay and dialogue by Mohamed al-Dabbah and Reem al-Qamash, and it is directed by Peter Mimi.
