Bayt al-Sennari announces course to teach hieroglyphics

Bayt al-Sinnari archaeological house in the Sayyeda Zeinab district of Cairo announced a course on the ancient Egyptian language of hieroglyphics, taking place at 5pm on Saturday.
 
Taught by Maysara Abdallah, a professor at the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University, the course, which consists of eight lectures with two lectures per day, will teach students how to read, write and arrange hieroglyphic letters, how to pronounce them in the acoustic Latin alphabet and different verbs and tenses.
 
The second level will include new words and basic rules of the hieroglyphic language.
