Satirist TV professional Bassem Youssef congratulated Khaled Mansour and Shady Alfons, his former co-stars on the Al Bernameg show, over their new program called ‘Al-Tagroba Al-Khafeya’ that will be shown during Ramadan.
In a phone call with talk show aired on the privately-owned Al-Nahar channel on Monday, Youssef said, “I’m happy with Shady and Khaled’s experience. I hope that the show will have a meaningful message without being like other prank shows.”
Mansour joked, “It’s too late to say that now, Bassem!”
Youssef also poked fun at the show’s host Khaled Salah in the beginning saying, “Who’s talking?” Salah responded, “It’s Khaled Salah.” Youssef replied, “Weren’t you arrested? Are you hosting the show from prison?”
