Bahaa Eddin discusses cooperation with European Bank officials

Ziad Bahaa Eddin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Cooperation, left Cairo on Sunday, heading to London on a two-day visit to Britain to discuss aspects of cooperation with the European Bank officials.
 
Bahaa Eddin is scheduled to hold talks with officials at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, tackling cooperation between the two sides and the portfolio of future cooperation, which includes projects in the sectors of electricity, water and sanitation, transportation, education and health.
 
The Bank currently contributes to several projects in Egypt, including the youth power plant project with US$165 million, the West Demyam power plant project with $25 million, the sewage network project in Kafr Al-Sheikh with $55 million and the project to develop Gesr al-Suez garage in Cairo with $54 million.
