Alexandria seaport authorities closed the Dekheila and Boghazi straits Wednesday due to high winds and waves and mist.
Mosaad Amer, head of the public relations department at Alexandria Seaport Authority, said the straits were closed to prevent collisions and preserve maritime safety.
