Authorities raid military clothes factory

Security authorities in Qalyubiya seized large amounts of military-style fabrics at a ready wear factory in Khanka.

Authorities found 600 tops, or 24,000 meters of fabric, similar to those worn by Central Security Forces. They also found 1,400 uniforms and overalls worn by the special forces.

The factory manager was arrested and referred to investigations, and the fabric was seized.

Qalyubiya security chief Mahmoud Yousry had received information that a factory in Khanka was manufacturing military wear without license.
