An Australian military delegation, headed by the commander of the counter-IED units, arrived in Cairo on Thursday to start a five-day visit.
The delegation will meet with senior Egyptian military leaders to discuss means of cooperation to confront terrorism and militant organizations.
The meeting will also focus on educating Egypt's military about Australia's expertise in dealing with IEDs, according to informed sources.
