A suicide bomber used a vehicle to attack Wednesday the Arish police club, killing three officers and wounding ten others, including five civilians, according to an Interior Ministry source.
The injured were hospitalized while bomb squads continued to collect the attacker’s remains in order to identify him.
The restive Sinai Peninsula has seen recurrent deadly attacks against army and police since the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
Most of the attacks since 2013 have been claimed by an Islamic State affiliate, the Sinai Province (Walayat Sinai).
