This deal comes under a cooperation agreement concluded earlier this year between the English club, owned by Egyptian businessman Nassef Sawiris, and its counterpart Zed FC, owned by Naguib Sawiris.
“Highly sought after, Khedr’s signature is a significant coup for Aston Villa’s Academy, with the Egyptian Under-17 international attracting attention and admiring glances from clubs across the continent and further afield,” Villa said.
“Khedr spent time earlier this month at Bodymoor Heath being shown around the High Performance Centre, meeting Unai Emery’s first-team stars as well as club legend and fellow Egyptian, Ahmed Elmohamady,” the statement added.
