Five people were killed and 4 others injured in a collision between two vehicles on the Assiut-Sohag Western Desert Road on Thursday.
The collision occurred between a truck and a micro-bus, according to Assiut police authorities.
All casualties were aboard the micro-bus. The killed individuals were transferred to al-Ghanayem Central Hospital and the injured to Assiut University Hospital.
Legal measures will be taken regarding the incident.
