The Armed Forces killed an extremist in North Sinai named Salmy Mohamed Musbah, known as abu Khaled, late Monday after tracking him in the al-Sakaseka area east of Arish City.
A security source told Al-Masry Al-Youm that troops found machine guns and ammunition with abu Khaled. Abu Khaled had been involved in the Rafah massacre in which 17 soldiers were killed in August 2012.
