The al-Arish International Airport in North Sinai on Wednesday continued to receive humanitarian, food, and relief flights to the Gaza Strip.
A German plane arrived at the airport earlier on Wednesday carrying 11.5 tons of various aid.
The aid is being received and transported on trucks to strategic warehouses of the city of al-Arish, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing – done in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent in North Sinai and its Palestinian counterpart.
The total number of flights that have arrived at al-Arish Airport since October 12, 2022 is 471 flights, including 387 carrying more than 12,000 tons of various aid and relief materials to the Gaza Strip, provided by 50 Arab and foreign countries and regional and international organization – in addition to 84 flights carrying Arab solidarity delegations.
