Egyptian actor Amir al-Masry has gotten the lead role in the upcoming English movie “Giant”, which narrates the life of the British-Yemeni boxer Nassim Hamed.
Masry announced the role on his official Instagram page, saying “Got some big boots to fill! 🥊 what an honor to play the legend ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed alongside another legend, Pierce Brosnan, as Brendan Ingle.”

“Giant” features titans of the industry Pierce Brosnan, and Sylvester Stallone, and is being filmed in the city of Leeds.
Masry’s latest work is the 2024 Ramadan drama series “Maliha”, which stars Diab, Ashraf Zaki, Mervat Amin, Cyrine Khas, and Hanan Suleiman, written by Rasha al-Gazzar, and directed by Amr Arafa.
“Maliha” revolves around a Palestinian family trying to return to Gaza via Egypt, and the many difficulties they face.
