Authorities announced on Sunday that two members of an Israeli tour group and one Egyptian were killed in a shooting in Alexandria, with one person left injured.
One of the police officers assigned to secure the Mansheya area in Alexandria suddenly opened fire at an Israeli tourist group present at the Pompey’s Pillar site.
The police officer was immediately arrested, with legal action being taken against him.
The wounded survivor was taken to the hospital for treatment.
