Egyptian actor Hatem Salah announced that the eighth season of the comedy series Al-Kabeer Awi, starring Ahmed Mekky, is currently in production and will be part of the coming Ramadan 2024 drama season.
“There is a new part of the series Al-Kabeer Awi, God willing, and this is information that perhaps not many people knew, people will see Nafadi’s character in the coming Ramadan,” Salah explained in televised statements.
Directed by Ahmed al-Gundi, the seventh season premiered during the 2023 Ramadan drama season to critical acclaim.
It featured a star-studded cast including Rahma Ahmed, Mohamed Salam, Hisham Ismail, Mostafa Gharib, Abdel Rahman Hassan, Bayoumi Fouad, Samaa Ibrahim, Kamal Abu Rayya, and others.
