Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Ahmed al-Tayyeb, thanked President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for inquiring after his health and his kind prayers for speedy recovery during his recent illness.
He also expressed appreciation for the care shown by the Egyptian people, both Muslims and Christians, and by those who prayed for him from abroad.
Al-Tayyeb said the sincere concern and support he received helped ease the impact of his health condition and contributed to his recovery.
