Air Cairo’s air fleet will reach 30 aircraft by the end of March, Hussein Sherif, President of Air Cairo, confirmed.
The company received 20 Airbus A320 aircraft at the beginning of March, and it is scheduled to receive another aircraft of the same model before the end of March, he added, pointing out that the company’s fleet comprises as well E190 and ATR72-600 aircraft models.
Sherif added that the company is pursuing a plan to expand its network of routes to connect Egyptian tourist attractions with countries of the world, in coordination with EgyptAir, to form an integrated network covering most international cities to accommodate the expected increase in tourism to Egypt during the coming period.
Air Cairo’s fleet is planned to reach 60 aircraft by the year 2027, compared to seven aircraft in 2020, he said, stressing that Air Cairo will see a quantum leap in terms of the number of frequencies, daily flights, and new destinations.
