Ahly’s superstar denies reports of Brotherhood affiliation

Egyptian football player and Ahly's superstar Mohamed Abu Treika on Monday denied reports that he is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, refusing to comment further on the issue.
Abu Treika said he is only a football player and will not run after news reports about him.
Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohsen Rady on Sunday told Al-Masry Al-Youm that Abu Treika and other football players belong to the group, but they didn't announce it under former President Hosni Mubarak's regime.
Abu Treika said he will resume his trainings on Tuesday after being absent because of an injury to his calf muscle.
