Egypt’s agricultural exports have surpassed 6.9 million tons between January 1st – October 16, to reach 4.37 billion dollars, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced on Saturday 19/10/2024.
This marks an increase of 980 million dollars and over 574,000 tons of agro-exports compared to the same period in the previous year.
This came in a report which Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Alaa Farouk received from Mohamed Mansi, the head of the agricultural quarantine department in Egypt.
The report on Egyptian agricultural exports said that the most important agricultural exports are citrus, potato, onion, grapes, beans, mango, tomato, garlic, strawberry, guava and pomegranate.
