An unemployed man killed his mother on Tuesday in Damat village, Gharbiya governorate, after she refused to give him money to buy drugs.
According to investigations, Ahmed H, 25, killed his mother Om al-Saad, 58, a housewife. The man beat his mother before stabbing her three times with a knife.
Investigations revealed that the defendant was an addict who wanted to buy cannabis. He has been arrested and referred to prosecution.
