Actress Rania Farid Shawqi said she would resume shooting "Neswan Adra" (Strong Women) on Sunday following her return from summer vacation.
"Neswan Adra" is directed by Ahmed Atef and stars Naglaa Badr and Abir Sabry.
The series tackles many problems facing Egyptian women and traces changes to Egyptian identity since the 1990s. The series focuses on the conflict between social classes in the upscale Mohandessin area and the conflict between money on the one hand and principle and good manners on the other, according to Shawqi.
The series, which was supposed to debut in October, was postponed due to a delay in shooting.
Shawqi has yet to decide whether she will continue shooting "Ostaz Bolbol w Haramo" (Mr. Bolbol and his Wife). "Ostaz Bolbol w Haramo" has been indifinitely adjourned. It stars Fatehy Abdel Wahab, Emmy Talaat Zakaria, Samar Gaber and Hebal Abdel Ghani.
