Egyptian Actor Hisham Selim passed away on Thursday, at the age of 64, after a battle with cancer.
The Acting Professions Syndicate announced in statements that prayers for Selim will be held at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed after Asr prayer, Mounir Makram, Undersecretary of the Acting Professions Syndicate, said in exclusive statements to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
Selim, son of the famous football player Saleh Selim, was born on January 27, 1958.
He graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Helwan University.
He starred in many films, dramas and plays.
His first appearance was in “Embratoreyet Meem” (Empire M) in 1972 where he played the role of the son of late actress Faten Hamama.
