Actor Ahmed Helmy and his wife the actress Mona Zaki attended on Friday a ceremony held on occasion his recovery after removing a cancerous brain tumor at the Egyptian consul in California.
The ceremony, which marks the first appearance for Helmy after the surgery, was attended by media professional Hala Sarhan, members of the Egyptian consulate and businessman Raafat Salib.
Salib told Al-Masry Al-Youm that Helmy has completely recovered and is in good health condition and will soon return to his country and fans.
Helmy removed a brain cancerous tumor last week in the United States.
