World-famous Egyptian soprano Fatma Said is preparing to perform a grand concert on Thursday, September 26, at Abdeen Palace, led by Maestro Nader Abbassi.
She is scheduled to present a singing program featuring some of her most acclaimed work throughout her artistic career.
RMC, the concert organizer, announced that tickets will be available for purchase in Egypt and the world starting from September 1, on the TicketsMarche website.
This marks Said’s first concert in Egypt after receiving the European Culture Award for 2024, which she received during the first-class awards ceremony at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Theater, held early last month, to honor the most prominent artistic and singing figures on the global scene.
Minister of Culture Ahmed Heno said that: “This concert is a special occasion that combines fine art and Egypt’s cultural heritage. It is a good opportunity for the Egyptian public and international visitors to enjoy a strong and distinctive voice in a place that carries a rich history and enhances the brilliance of operatic music in the country.”
In turn the CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority Amr al-Kady said: “We are pleased to cooperate with Said, who has a distinctive operatic voice in Egypt and the world, and who has played leading roles in many international operas.”
And the Founder and Managing Director of RMC Worldwide Partners for Consulting and Marketing, Ahmed Obaid, said that: “The concert comes within the framework of RMC’s efforts to organize artistic and cultural events in various distinguished archaeological and historical sites in Egypt, which attract audiences from all over the world.”
