Giza’s “Pyramids Gardens” neighborhood witnessed a violent murder on Tuesday evening, when a student reportedly stabbed his mother and brother to death.
Eyewitnesses who live in the area said that the student also attempted stabbing his sister’s husband.
Hearing screams from the house, a group of neighbors came out to investigate. They found that the suspect had stabbed his family and was sitting on the stairs, crying nervously.
According to a neighbor of the family, the young man suffers from a mental illness.
Police were notified and the suspect was arrested. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
