A day of elections: Phosphoric ink arrives late in Kafr al-Sheikh

Some polling stations in the Nile Delta governorate of Kafr al-Sheikh opened four hours late, as supervisors did not show up on time, and phosphoric ink arrived late.

Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafi trend used megaphones to promote their candidates, who were present before polling stations. The army provided security to prevent clashes from erupting.

The Brotherhood and Salafis competed intensely in the city of Al-Hamoul, where they provided free transportation for voters to go to polling stations.

Wafd Party candidates did better than both groups in the village of Metobas.
