The Lawyers Syndicate on Wednesday formed a fact-finding committee to investigate the clashes that erupted between citizens and police in Tahrir Square on Tuesday.
“We suspect the remnants of the former regime and dissolved local councils were behind those clashes,” said Syndicate President Hamdy Khalifa.
Syndicate Freedoms Committee Chairman Mohamed Abdel Kodous ruled out that the possibility that those citizens involved were the same people who led the 25 January revolution.
