Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil al-Araby on Tuesday met with Emirati Foreign Minister Anwar Qarqash at Dubai International Airport as Araby was on his way back from Indonesia for the Non-Alignment Movement conference.
An Emirati news agency reported that the meeting tackled bilateral relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates as well as political developments in the region.
They also exchanged points of view about the Middle East peace process.
News reports said the UAE would announce plans during Prime Minister Essam Sharaf's upcoming trip to Abu Dhabi to provide Egypt with economic aid.
