Voters force Brotherhood guide to get in line

Voters waiting their turn to cast ballots in the constitutional referendum Saturday forced Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Badei to wait his turn.

Badei tried to pass voters standing in along line at al-Manyal Preparatory School in Giza to cast his vote on proposed amendments. Voters at another polling station in Dokki had earlier heckled the Cairo Governor for jumping the queue.

A number of Muslim Brotherhood members including the group's spokesman, Essam al-Erian, asked officers at a police vehicle to make space for Badei’s car to park in front of the polling station.

However, Badei’s attitude provoked the voters, some of whom had been waiting patiently since morning and Badei got in line to wait for his turn to vote.
