Libyan state television on Thursday accused Egyptians living in Libya of “conniving a terrorist plot against the Libyan people,” together with Algerian and Tunisian elements.
The program showed several corpses of those that it claimed were perpetrators of the plot. The bodies lied next to weapons and explosive material.
Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces said Egypt is exerting maximum effort to secure the return of Egyptians living in Libya. It added that the deteriorating security situation in Libya is slowing down such efforts.
