Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to Qatar and Turkey over the victims of a military helicopter crash in the Qatari territorial waters.
The Qatari Ministry of Defense has confirmed the death of four Qatari military personnel and three Turkish nationals, including a serviceman, who were on board the helicopter that crashed in the Gulf country’s territorial waters at dawn on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt offered its heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and affirmed its solidarity with Qatar and Turkey at this painful time.
