Unstable weather expected for Egypt starting Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of unstable weather conditions starting Wednesday, with potential for rain and sandstorms.

The EMA urged citizens to follow its weather forecasts and exercise caution.

Monda’y weather will be cold at night and in the early morning, growing mild to warm during the day across most of the country.

There is a slight chance of light rain in parts of Upper Egypt and the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen.

Winds will be intermittently active along the western coast, in South Sinai, and parts of the Western Desert.

  • Cairo, Alexandria, and Matrouh: 23C
  • Hurghada: 25C
  • Sharm El-Sheikh: 26C
  • Luxor: 27C
  • Aswan: 28C
