Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates has formed a task force within its consular sector to monitor the situation of Egyptian communities in the region amid ongoing military escalation.
The ministry said that the unit will receive inquiries from Egyptian nationals and follow developments related to their safety. A WhatsApp number, 00201226858000, has been activated to handle questions concerning the conditions of citizens abroad.
It added that the task force is in constant contact with Egyptian diplomatic missions to provide necessary support.
The ministry called on Egyptian communities to remain cautious and comply with safety and security instructions issued by local authorities.
