CAIRO, Feb 8 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Sunday welcomed statements by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune about Egypt, saying they reflected the depth of historical ties between the two countries.
In a post on his official Facebook page, President Sisi said he welcomed Tebboune’s remarks on Egypt, describing them as a reflection of the strong historical bonds linking Cairo and Algiers.
President Sisi added that relations between the two countries represent a long record of shared struggle and cooperation in facing common challenges, stressing that solidarity among Arab nations is essential to safeguarding the interests of their peoples and strengthening regional stability.
