
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts warmer temperatures to continue across most of the country, with Sunday’s weather is expected to be hot during the day and cool at night.
The EMA warned that temperatures will drop significantly at night.
Sunday’s weather will also see active winds that may stir up sand and dust in parts of the Western Desert, northern Egypt extending to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, North and central Sinai, and the Suez Canal cities.
Winds may reduce horizontal visibility in some areas, with dust storms present in parts of Upper Egypt.
The authority emphasized the importance of wearing masks when going out, especially for those with allergies and sinus problems, and avoiding direct exposure to sunlight.
The authority noted that the country is experiencing a significant rise in temperatures during this period compared to normal averages.
It confirmed that the country still remains in the peak of winter and advised against wearing light clothing.

- Matrouh: 25C
- Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada: 27C
- Alexandria: 28C
- Cairo: 30C
- Luxor and Aswan: 32C
