
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts very cold weather at night and in the early morning on Saturday, with warm temperatures during the day across most of the country.
Frost is expected on crops in Upper Egypt, central Sinai, and the Western Desert.
Weather maps warn of dense fog in the morning on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
This fog may reduce visibility on some roads.
The EMA called for maintaining safe distances between vehicles, using headlights, and reducing speed while driving.
There will be a chance of light to moderate rain in areas of the northwestern coast and northern Nile Delta, extending lightly to areas of the northeastern coast at intervals.
Temperatures expected for Saturday:
- Matrouh: 18°C
- Alexandria: 19°C
- Cairo: 20°C
- Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh: 23°C
- Luxor and Aswan: 24°C
