The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that, in observance of the end of the fiscal year for banks operating in Egypt on December 31, 2025, all banks will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
The CBE added in a press release on Sunday that banking operations will resume on Sunday morning, January 4, 2026.
