Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty outlined, during an interview with Pakistan’s DAWN newspaper and TV channel, the developments of Egyptian-Pakistani relations in the political and economic domains as well as ongoing coordination between the two countries within multilateral frameworks.
The interview took place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, on the sidelines of Abdelatty’s visit to Islamabad.
The top diplomat also reviewed Egypt’s position towards developments in the Middle East, especially in the Gaza Strip, underlining the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and going ahead with the implementation of the second phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan.
He also highlighted Egypt’s efforts to support early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.
