Twenty-eight Palestinians from the Gaza Strip were killed and dozens sustained various injuries following shelling by the Israeli occupation army targeting several areas in the Strip.
Multiple sources reported that Israeli occupation army aircraft bombed a group of citizens near the Shuja’iyya intersection on Salah al-Din Street, east of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of citizens and the injury of more than 10 others.
Additionally, 10 citizens were killed and dozens were wounded in the targeting of the Endowments (Awqaf) building near the ‘Asqoula area, southeast of the city. One citizen was killed and several others were injured when the occupation artillery targeted a house belonging to the Bulbul family in Mushtaha Street, in the Shuja’iyya area, east of Gaza.
Two children were killed and dozens of citizens were wounded when Israeli occupation reconnaissance aircraft shelled the southern Al-Buraq neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis City, in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, one citizen was killed by occupation fire in the Qizan an-Najjar area, south of the city.
In Mawasi Khan Yunis, four citizens were killed and several others were wounded following an Israeli army airstrike targeting a UNRWA club facility.
The Israeli occupation army stated that there was an attempt to assassinate leaders in the Al-Qassam Brigades, including Imad Islim, commander of the Zaytun Battalion and Head of the Naval Police, in response to previous shooting that targeted army forces in Gaza.
Hebrew sources reported that Tel Aviv informed Washington of the military operation prior to its execution.
Meanwhile, 13 people were killed, including 3 women, 6 children, and a 7-month-old fetus, as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted the Endowments (Awqaf) building in the Al-Zaytun area near the ‘Asqoula intersection, east of Gaza City.
Khan Yunis witnessed the killing of 13 people (martyrs), including 4 children and 4 women, in addition to a number of wounded individuals, due to Israeli shelling that targeted a group of citizens inside the UNRWA club, along with the targeting of a tent in the Al-Mawasi area.
Separately, one person was killed and dozens were wounded as a result of an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of citizens at the Shuja’iyya intersection on Salah al-Din Street, east of Gaza City.
Another person was killed and several were wounded when an Israeli tank shell targeted a house belonging to the Bulbul family in the Shuja’iyya area, Mushtaha Street, east of Gaza City. Civil Defense teams are still conducting search operations for the missing in the Al-Zaytun area.
