Cairo is set to host an unprecedented global royal and charitable event as it stages The Grand Ball—themed ‘Royalty on the Nile’—renowned as one of the world’s most luxurious royal celebrations.
The festivities will begin on November 8th within the historic grandeur of Abdeen Palace, with the concluding ceremony following on November 9th at the Egyptian Opera House.
A gathering of global royalty and stars

The Grand Ball, organized by the Monaco-based Noble Monte-Carlo foundation, is drawing an elite list of international participants, including Prince Albert II of Monaco and numerous highnesses and nobles from Europe’s most prominent royal houses, such as Princess Beatrice di Bourbon and Prince Joachim Murat.
The guest list is further augmented by Hollywood stars, leading figures from the worlds of art and music, and high-level government officials from France and several other European nations.
The event serves as the grand finale for the global “Hope Givers” campaign, held under the patronage of several Egyptian ministries and international organizations.
High art meets humanitarian aid

At its core, The Grand Ball is a charitable event dedicated to supporting humanitarian initiatives, particularly those focused on children, women, and the arts. The gala is overseen by socialite and opera singer Delia Grace, a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, who aims to seamlessly blend fine art and beauty with philanthropy.
The closing ceremony at the Opera House will feature notable performances, including a special segment by Egyptian artist Safaa Abou al-Seoud, who serves as the Artistic President of the Hope Givers campaign.
The audience will also witness performances from the celebrated European opera star Federico Martiello—noted for his groundbreaking performance from a chair following rare surgery—and the James Bond movie series icon, Erika Pochinko.
An evening of unmatched elegance

The celebration is famed for recreating the atmosphere of ancient European court galas, emphasizing high culture, refined taste, and exquisite beauty.
The royal-themed evening features sophisticated artistic programs, including opera, musical performances, and fashion shows by international designers, traditionally culminating in a formal royal dance involving all guests.
Guests are expected to adhere to a strict dress code of royal attire and luxurious gowns, complementing the event’s opulent, fairytale-like ambiance. The event is typically held in the world’s most exclusive destinations, such as the Hotel de Paris in Monaco, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, and the Cipriani in Venice.
