President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stated that his American counterpart, President Donald Trump, deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for the success of his tireless efforts in bringing about the cessation of the war in the Gaza Strip.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that President Sisi offered his congratulations to Trump during a phone call for the successful efforts to halt the war in Gaza.
Sisi expressed his profound appreciation for President Trump personally and for his dedication to ending the conflict in the Strip.
He emphasized that reaching the agreement is a historical achievement realized through Trump’s sincere efforts and commitment to peace. He asserted that, based on this success, Trump fully and deservedly merits the Nobel Peace Prize.
Furthermore, Sisi stressed the need to move forward with the implementation of the Gaza war cessation agreement across all its phases, highlighting the importance of President Trump’s continued support and sponsorship of the implementation process.
The official spokesperson announced in a statement on Thursday, that President El-Sisi extended an invitation to President Trump to participate in the celebration to be held in Egypt marking the conclusion of the Gaza war agreement.
The agreement was described as a historic deal that crowns the joint efforts of Egypt, the United States, and the mediators over the past period—an invitation that President Trump welcomed.
