Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, said that the US had only informed Qatar of the attack 10 minutes after it occurred, adding that Israel used weapons that his country’s radars could not detect.
He slammed the Israeli Prime Minister’s acts of “state terrorism” and continuous attempts to destabilize regional security and stability.
During a press conference, he pointed out that the Israeli attack on Doha shows that there is a “rogue actor in the region”, warning that Netanyahu is leading the region down an irreparable path.
He stated earlier that Doha will not tolerate any infringement on its territorial integrity and reserves the right to respond.
He added, “We have formed a legal team to take all legal measures in response to this rogue act.”
“We have reached a pivotal moment for the region to respond to these actions. The Israeli attack exceeded international laws and moral standards and can only be described as an act of treachery.”
“Israel has worked to sabotage every chance for peace,” he said, adding that “Israel’s attack was an entirely treacherous operation with no prior knowledge.”
However, he stated that mediation will continue on all issues in the region to achieve stability.
