
CAIRO, Aug 29 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed Cairo International Airport early Friday for China, where he will represent President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin city.
Madbouly is scheduled to join heads of state and government at the summit and deliver Egypt’s official statement.
The summit will be held under the theme “Upholding the Shanghai Spirit: SCO on the Move.”
During the visit, Madbouly will hold high-level meetings with Chinese officials and senior executives from leading Chinese companies to explore avenues for boosting economic cooperation. (MENA)
