Israeli media reported early Saturday morning that at least four Israeli soldiers have gone missing during clashes in Gaza.
The Hebrew platform Hadashot Akhshaf reported that, “There are concerns that four soldiers were kidnapped a short while ago in Gaza, and the army is searching for them.”
According to Israeli military sources, Hamas fighters launched simultaneous attacks and carried out terrifying ambushes against Israeli forces in Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City and the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip.
Hebrew platforms revealed that the Israeli army was enacting the “Hannibal Protocol” to prevent any of its soldiers from being captured during clashes with Hamas fighters.
This coincided with Hebrew sources announcing that Hamas was attempting to capture Israeli soldiers during simultaneous attacks on army forces.
