The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects temperatures to continue to drop lower than usual for this time of year on Saturday, amid active winds, which will help enhance the sense of improved weather.
Saturday’s weather will be hot and humid in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot and humid in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
At night, the weather will be slightly hot and humid across most parts of the country.
The EMA expects intermittent light rain in different areas along the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, and in the southern cities of Halayeb and Shalateen. Winds will also be active across most areas, potentially stirring up sand and dust in parts of the Western Desert.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 meters high, with a northwesterly wind direction.
The Red Sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from one to 1.75 meters high. Wind direction: northwesterly to southwesterly.
