
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects the heatwave across the country to peak on Monday, with hot weather during the day and cooler weather at night and early morning for most of the nation.
The authority expects the heatwave to continue until Tuesday.
On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop by four to five degrees Celsius across most parts of the country, accompanied by winds and rainfall of varying intensities in areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt.
Expected Temperatures on Monday:
- Alexandria: 26C
- Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada: 33C
- Cairo: 34C
- Luxor and Aswan: 38C
