Ramadan drama series “El-Ghawy”, starring Ahmed Mekky, will begin airing on Sunday, as part of the second half of Ramadan.
It is slated to air on the “ON” channel at 7:15 pm, with a rerun at 11:30 am.
El-Ghawy stars Mekky alongside Aicha Ben Ahmed, Amr Abdel-Gelil, Ahmed Bedier, Ahmed Kamal, Mohamed Lotfy, Walaa El-Sherif, Karam Jaber, Hager Afifi, Abyussef, and Tamer Shaltout, with a special appearance by Kozbora.
The series is written by Tariq Kashef and Mahmoud Zahran, and directed by Mando al-Adl.
It tells a dramatic tale of redemption, after the protagonist Shams al-Adwy seeks to atone for a life of crime, but finds himself facing new challenges after his friend suffers an injustice.
